A MERINO polo top designed in the classic style of 1930's cycling jerseys.
 
Inspired by the legendary World Champions rainbow jersey is the distinctive jersey worn by the reigning World Champion in a cycling discipline, since 1927. A few riders that are exceptions to 'the curse of the world cup champions jersey' include 2010 world champion Thor Hushovd won two stages of the 2011 Tour de France. His first stage win in the race, stage 13, is considered to be his best win of his career as it was a tough mountain stage and Hushovd originally is a sprinter. He also wore the yellow leaders jersey for 7 straight days.
2011 world champion Mark Cavendish won 13 stages, the Kuurne-Brussels-Kuurne & Belgian Tom Boonen won the world road race in 2005 then rode the jersey to victory in 12 individual stages, the Tour of Flanders & the overall at the Tour of Qatar.
